The leaves are turning colors, the nights are getting longer and the days shorter, temperatures are dropping. April in Australia is the middle of the autumn.

And the Banksia are turning colors.
Banksia are a family of plants indigenous to Australia.
We are enjoying the colors, but it certainly is a bit of a mind switch to think of April as a fall month, heading to winter.
